Studio Green produced Komban is an action-drama, Muthiah is the director, Karthi, Lakshmi Menon and Raj Kiran play important roles. All that is known. The extra news is, Komban might be part of the Pongal race.
With very minimal information about the film and just a few images from the film doing rounds in the online social media, this is definitely a big news about the movie.
After Madras, expectations about Karthi are to their original best. Doesn't stop here. The rural drama's first look will also come out very soon. We are waiting for official confirmation.
Festival days are also the busiest days for film buffs. You will have continuous releases and also a tough time to choose between films to be watched first. The 2015 Pongal, the harvest festival will have 5 big films releasing at the same time
As of now, the films that will be part of the Pongal race are, Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal, Vishal's Aambala, Sivakarthikeyan's Kaaki Sattai, Karthi's Komban and Vikram's I. These films are not only the clash of the titans, but are also very different from each other. Two distinct cop stories, a laugh riot, a rural drama and a love-thriller.
Technically, its Ajith Vs Vikram Vs Karthi Vs Vishal Vs Sivakarthkeyan. What if all these movie release on the same day? What will be your first choice?
Harvest festival for the film industry also. Considering the holidays for the festive season, the producers will fight their level best for a Pongal-race seat. Backing out at the last minute is also part of such races.

Petitioner K R Ravi Rathinam said he had given a complaint to police on November 1,2014, listing all the 'offences' committed by the four respondents. But no FIR had been registered though a cognizable offence had been made out, he said.
He said that after it was submitted that Lingaa's audio release would be on November 16, the respondents had 'purposely' released the film trailer to legitimize their illegal act, claiming his story "Mullai Vanam 999" was Lingaa.
On script writer's Pon Kumaran's statement that the story "King Khan", the base story forLingaa, had been registered on December 15 2012, he said "King Khan" was released in Hindi in 2011.
Rathinam alleged the respondents were trying to dupe the court by filing a certificate of another story only showing that it had been registered.
Besides, while Rajikanth said the script and screenplay was by Pon Kumaran, director K.S.Ravikumar was claiming that he wrote the screenplay for the basic story by Ponkumaran. The petitioner sought to stay the film's release and also constitute a committe to find out the true author of the film "Mullai Vanam 999" produced by him and Lingaa.

And he deleted it later. zoom & check the favorites, they r Whites & Chinese.”
Behindwoods requests all fans and film buffs to stop indulging in such activities creating needless mockery and mess, as a lot is at stake in our film industry.
More than starting a film, releasing it is becoming a humongous task. Either a group or an individual claims that their sentiments had been hurt or it was their story. Issues like plagiarism and defamation are constantly being reported.
We have already intimated you on the Lingaa story plagiarism issue. One Mr. Ravi Rathinam had filed a petition in the Madurai bench of Madras High Court stating that Lingaa is actually his story 'Mullaivanam 999' which he had uploaded in YouTube and that the makers of Lingaa had stolen his story. Director K S Ravikumar and Rajinikanth had filed their counter affidavits which stated that the story of Lingaa is written by Ponkumaran while additional elements were added in it, and that there was absolutely no truth in Ravi Rathinam’s petition. When the case came for hearing, Justice Venugopal after hearing the arguments on both the sides, deferred his verdict without mentioning the date for judgment.
Now here comes a relief for all movie buffs. The High court bench in Madurai has dismissed the plagiarism petition against the film. In simpler words, nothing and nobody can stop Lingaa from hitting the theatres. Fans and film-lovers? Get ready for the celebration from December 12th !!!
